Arsene Wenger confirms Lucas Perez will leave Arsenal this summer
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed that Lucas Perez will leave the club this summer. Perez joined the Gunners in a £17.1m deal last year, but he struggled to work his way into Wenger's first-team plans at the Emirates Stadium and made just two Premier League starts throughout last season. The 28-year-old's agent has claimed that a number of clubs around Europe - including Newcastle United, Sevilla and Fenerbahce - are interested in signing him, and Wenger has now confirmed that he will be sold during the current transfer window.
