Lucas Perez hands in formal transfer request to force Arsenal exit
GETTY Lucas Perez has handed a transfer request into Arsenal The Gunners are willing to let the striker leave but are demanding a £13.4m (€15m) fee. Perez’ agent told Goal the forward had made things official in terms of wanting to leave the Emirates. The 28-year-old is down the pecking order at Arsenal with the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck all preferred by Arsene Wenger. Perez netted seven times in 21 appearances last season. His agent Rodrigo Fernandez Lovelle is not happy with the asking price Arsenal have set. “€15m (£13.4m) is an expensive price,” he told Goal.
