Lucas Perez representative hopeful of Deportivo La Coruna deal
Lucas Perez's representative has suggested that an agreement could soon be reached for the Arsenal striker to return to Deportivo La Coruna. The 28-year-old joined the Gunners last summer for £12.7m but failed to earn a consistent role in Arsene Wenger's plans and was not part of their 18-man squad for the Premier League opener against Leicester City on Friday. Perez has also previously admitted that he is frustrated at being a bit-part player, and suggested that new signing Alexandre Lacazette being handed Perez's number 9 shirt upon his arrival was "the last straw".
