Leeds eying Arsenal ace Chuba Akpom as Chris Wood replacement: Celtic keen too
Leeds are set to lose last season’s top scorer Wood to Burnley, with the forward undergoing a medical yesterday. As a result, manager Thomas Christiansen is eying a forward with the end of the transfer window just over a week away. Sheffield Wednesday forward Jordan Rhodes has been tipped to move to Elland Road, while Aston Villa’s Ross McCormack is another name being backed to join. Leeds narrowly missed out on the Championship play-offs last season and Christensen is determined to succeed where predecessor Garry Monk failed.
