Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will reject a new Arsenal contract
The England winger is entering the final 12 months of his current deal and his future remains uncertain. He is set for talks with Arsenal this week in which his situation will become clearer. Chelsea and Liverpool are keen on a move for the 24-year-old and could launch ‘serious bids’ before deadline day, according to the Telegraph and Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to be keen to let his contract run down. The winger joined Arsenal from Southampton in 2011 but has never been able to nail down a regular place. He has looked promising in the wing-back role in Arsene Wenger’s new 3-5-2 formation.
