Edu and Arsenal board’s private messages to agents about Mikel Arteta’s future

Arsenal director Edu and the Gunners board have not changed their mind over Mikel Arteta. The Spaniard managed to oversee an end to their run of games without a win by beating Chelsea on Saturday, and he will be looking to build on that by taking three points from Brighton on Tuesday. Their 3-1 win at the Emirates has given Arteta some room to breath for the trip to the Amex, but he will be aware that the victory over Frank Lampard must not be a one off.
