Valencia join Arsenal and Chelsea in race to sign Michy Batshuayi
Valencia have joined Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign Michy Batshuayi from Marseille. The Belgian forward's goal tally has already hit double figures this season, sparking interest from Europe's top two leagues. Arsenal are apparently lining up a January bid for Batshuayi and Chelsea have also courted the 22-year-old. However, according to Super Deporte, Valencia are now preparing a swoop for the in-form striker and could sneak in ahead of the two Premier League heavyweights. Batshuayi's current contract with Marseille expires in 2019 so only an astronomical fee would prise him away from the French club in the mid-season transfer window.
