Danny Welbeck feeling 'positive' ahead of injury return

Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck has admitted that he is desperate to get back out on the field following a lengthy injury layoff. The England international damaged his knee at the back end of last season and has not featured for the Gunners since. After going under the knife in September, Welbeck is now expected to return early in the new year to provide Arsenal with another option in attack. Speaking to the club's official website about his frustrations over the past seven months or so, he said: "It is difficult. It is my first injury that has kept me out for so long.
