Wenger Admits Arsenal Open To Signing New Players In January
It has been revealed that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admits he could buy in January. A spate of recent injuries – notably to Alexis Sanchez, Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin – have led the Frenchman to concede that his squad may need bolstering when the window opens on January 1. “We are open minded,' declared Wenger, speaking at his Thursday press conference. 'We are not the only ones who can decide about the speed of the transfers. 'We have to adapt to the availabilities and the speed of negotiations and the willingness of clubs to sell. 'But we are willing because we are short.'
