Southampton ready to offer unsettled Arsenal man record-breaking exit route

Southampton are ready to make Arsenal‘s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain their highest-paid player in a bid to convince the winger to return to St Mary’s Stadium, according to reports from the Mirror. The England international has endured a difficult season in the north of London, with only nine of his 22 league appearances having been starts, leading to suggestions he’s grown unsettled at the club. Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the Gunners from Southampton back in 2011 in a £15m deal, and reports claim that the Saints are eager to lure him back.
