Jack Wilshere: 'England need Danny Welbeck for Euro 2016'
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has claimed that England will be dealt a blow if Danny Welbeck's injury rules him out of this summer's European Championships, which get underway in France next month. The striker limped off the pitch in the first half of Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday after injuring his knee. The extent of the problem is yet to be confirmed by the Gunners, and England manager Roy Hodgson will be waiting anxiously for the results as he prepares to name his 23-man squad for the Euros on Thursday.
