Danny Welbeck to be ruled out of Euro 2016 but Jordan Henderson is set to be fit
GETTY CONCERN: It was clear straight away that Welbeck's injury could be serious Arsenal were monitoring a cartilage injury in the England striker’s right knee yesterday after he was hurt in the 2-2 draw at Manchester City on Sunday. But it is understood the Gunners medical team feel there is little chance of him making Roy Hodgson’s squad for France, which is announced at Wembley on Thursday. Swelling around the knee tends to need to reduce before the full extent of an injury can be diagnosed through scans.
