Ex-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner could join Nottingham Forest - sources

Nicklas Bendtner has been training with FC Copenhagen as a free agent. Ex-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is in talks with Nottingham Forest, sources close to the club have told N FC. Bendtner is a free agent after being released by Wolfsburg in April following a disappointing spell in Germany. With Forest playing Arsenal at the City Ground in the third round of the EFL Cup on Sept. 20, Bendtner could quickly come up against his former club. The 28-year-old joined Die Wolfe in the summer of 2014 after his contract at Arsenal expired, but off-field problems saw his contract terminated 15 months early.
