Former Arsenal cult hero set for free transfer return to England and could face Gunners in just two weeks

Nottingham Forest are reportedly considering signing former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner on a free transfer to bolster their attacking options. The Dane has become somewhat of a cult hero with his antics off the pitch, but after leaving Wolfsburg at the end of last season, he has been without a club since. According to The Sun, Forest could be about to offer him a way back into English football by snapping him up on a free transfer and it could secure a reunion with his former club sooner than he expected. The Championship outfit take on the Gunners in the EFL Cup in two weeks time, and should a deal be wrapped up before then, there is every chance that the 28-year-old will be tasked...
