Arsenal star Theo Walcott reaping rewards of lean spell after Swansea heroics
The Arsenal forward was derided by fans after bitterly disappointing displays against Malta and Slovenia last week. Walcott's miserable performances for country were completely out of sync with his club form and he proved just how valuable he is with another star-studded display for the Gunners on Saturday. The 27-year-old scored twice, both times taking advantage of defensive errors, to help see off Swansea and take his tally to six goals in five matches this season. He could even have had four but twice hit the woodwork late on.
