Arsenal reject £6.2m Jack Wilshere offer from Sampdoria, £8.8m wanted - Gianluca Di Marzio
Wilshere, 25, has now entered the final 12 months of his contract at Arsenal after returning from a season-long loan spell at Bournemouth. He joined the Cherries in search of regular game time after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates. The England international made 29 Premier League appearances, but his progress was scuppered by a fracture leg he suffered in April. Wilshere has since retuned to Arsenal, but his future at the club remains unclear. Italian side Sampdoria are keen to swoop with the club apparently making contact with Arsenal last week about a possible move.
